Six tainted wrestlers and two athletes who tested positive for banned substance will be given a chance to get their B sample tested on Saturday. Keeping the Commonwealth Games in mind, the National Anti-Doping Agency wants everything to be sorted as soon as possible.

Confirming this, NADA director general Rahul Bhatnagar said he had, in fact, spoken to the federations and some athletes as well and has told them that they were welcome to get their B-sample tested in their presence on Saturday. "It's an unfortunate incident and we would like to conclude all formalities as soon as possible. The necessary authorisation will be sought and the B samples will be tested in front of them," he said. "We have asked them to come at 10am, which they have agreed to and we will have the tests done."

It has also been learnt that the Sourav Vij, the shot putter who tested positive for banned substance had also spoken to NADA, but Bhatnagar did not confirm if Vij would be coming to give his B sample.

If wrestlers return positive tests even after the B-sample tests, they will be referred to the Anti-doping Disciplinary Panel for a hearing. "We will request the panel to conclude the hearing as soon as possible as the Commonwealth Games is just round the corner," said Bhatnagar.
