The Orlando-based Indian, who has been battling injuries and poor form for quite some time, ended his campaign with a total of seven-under 281.

It was an eventful start to the proceedings as Atwal stumbled to a couple of bogeys against a birdie on the first five holes.

However, Atwal struck back-to-back birdies on the seventh and eighth to make the one-under.

On his way back, Atwal gained a stroke on the 12th hole and parred the rest to round off a reasonably good campaign.

Australian Adam Scott lifted the title with a total of 14-under 274 after carding a 67 in the final round. Swede Fredrik Jacobson (70) finished second, a stroke behind Scott.
