AVINDAM SHAH of St Paul’s School and Madhu Mishra of Government Raja Bhoj School have bagged the top slots in the junior and senior categories of the ninth district-level astronomy Olympiad of the MP Vigyan Sabha.

The results of the Olympiad were announced on Sunday. Apoorva Gupta and Harshal Jain both of DPS won the second and third spots in junior category while Chinmaya Patnaik of Jawaharlal Nehru School and A Kridhila of Carmel Convent won the second and third positions in the senior category.
These students will be representing the district in the State-level astronomy Olympiad to be held on December 24 and 25. About 180 winners from 30 districts along with 30 teachers will be participating in the event.
