Bajrangis, VHP activists take part in shastra poojan

SCORES OF Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers participated in shastra poojan ceremony organised at Gendeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Pardeshipura and Subhashchandra Bose School ‘Nutan’ at Bada Ganapati amidst tight police arrangement here today.

Activists from various parts of the City thronged these two venues. They carried swords, knives and guns. The weapons were collected at one spot after which a common pooja was performed amidst chanting of the religious hymns.

Effigies of General Pervez Musharraf being killed by Maa Navdurga and Lord Shiva killing Bin Laden adorned the stage at Pardeshipura symbolising the victory of good over. Over 100 members of Durgavahini attended the function at Bada Ganapati.

Pravin Darekar, Dilip Singh Verma, Subhash Porwal and Manoj Malpani were the prominent leaders present at Pardeshipura while Narendra Parmar and Kailash Bagora took part in the prayer session at Bada Ganapati.
