Bangalore: bomb hoax in Forum Mall

A phone call stating that a bomb had been placed inside INOX Multiplex theatre in Forum Mall, a favourite haunt of youngsters here, created panic for over two hours but ultimately turned out to be hoax, police said.

"We received a call from a mobile phone that a bomb had been placed in INOX Multiplex at around 2.30 pm. We rushed our bomb squads and sniffer dogs. After a thorough search lasting nearly three hours, it turned out to be a hoax," police sources told PTI.

The call is being traced, police said.
