Classical courses in company law procedures and accounting, which form key aspects of the BFSI sector, are offered by the three statutory bodies:

Top professionals often have more than one or even all of the statutory qualifications. The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) also offers courses that are taken up as additional qualification by finance professionals.

Finance specialisations offered by the top management schools of India are often ranked equal to or even higher than the statutory qualifications.

A host of colleges today offer specialised courses in financial services. Some of these colleges are Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences and College of Business Studies (Delhi).

The Association of Mutual Funds of India and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority also have their certifications, which are helpful.
