Former BCCI pitches and grounds commitee chairman G Kasturirangan will accompany Sundaram, according to S Haridas, secretary, Kerala Cricket Association (KCA).

Kasturirangan had inspected the pitch a couple of days earlier and had expressed satisfaction on the progress of the work. "The outfield has improved by leaps and bounds," he had said after the inspection.

Dinendra Kashyap, Ernakulam city police commissioner, visited the stadium on Thursday to see the arrangments.

General convener T C Mathew said special arrangements had been made to sell tickets in denominations of Rs 2,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000 at the stadium on March 25 (Good Friday) and March 27 (Sunday), since these two days were bank holidays.
