BDRC members take part in rifle shooting programme

BHOPAL DISTRICT Rifle Club (BDRC) members took part in a rifle shooting programme organised at the 25th Battalion?s shooting range at Bhadbhada Road here today.

BHOPAL DISTRICT Rifle Club (BDRC) members took part in a rifle shooting programme organised at the 25th Battalion’s shooting range at Bhadbhada Road here today. 

According to BDRC Director Aruneshwar Singh Deo, more than 100 members of the Club including women and children took part in the shooting programme. Participants fired from a distance of 50 ft with 0.22 bore rifle.

Besides, some people also used heavy bore rifles. Both telescopic and open bore rifles were used. Later, a meeting was organised in which Club office-bearers congratulated international shooter Rajkumari Dondia for winning three gold and one bronze  medal at SAF Games held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

“We feel proud on the achievement of Rajkumari Dondia”, said AS Singh Deo.  Later, Club members held discussions on a firing competition to be organised soon.

A V Sinha, Milin Sagorkar, Mahavir Bhatnagar, Ashok Singh, Robin Dutta and others were present on the occasion.
