The 30-year-old Real Madrid star had reportedly lent his BMW to an employee, who forgot to switch on its tracking system, because of which the vehicle got nicked.

"He is gutted. David loves this car," The Sun quoted David's friend as saying.

The grey X5 was bought after a kidnap attempt on son Brooklyn, six, and was parked in a street near the star's £5million mansion in Madrid, when it was driven away.
