The order was issued by Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur.

Bhavana's counsel on Tuesday moved an application before the court seeking an early date for recording of her statement. The court had earlier fixed February 1 for recording Bhavana's testimony.

Besides Bhavana, UP police sub-Inspector Anil Samania and a HDFC bank official were summoned on January 12 to record their statements on February one in the case.

Bharti, a key witness in Nitish Katara murder case, had recorded her testimony on November 29, 2006 before the court after remaining elusive for two years.

Bharti's brother Vikas and cousin Vishal are accused of kidnapping and murdering Nitish with whom she allegedly had an intimate relationship.

While Vikas and another accused Sukhdev Pehlwan are in jail, Vishal has been granted bail by the Delhi High Court.
