WANT TO sell ‘raddi’ or scrap material! Rush to Big Bazaar. Big Bazaar, the country’s leading value for money discount hypermarket, has announced a unique offer ‘Bring anything old and take something new!’ The offer is on from February 4 at Big Bazaar, Treasure Island.

A spokesman for Big Bazaar said that in the exchange offer, one can bring anything old like newspapers, old clothes, an old toilet seat etc and get anything new at Big Bazaar. Also, the uniqueness of the offer is that the exchange prices for the old goods are much higher than that given by the neighbourhood ‘kabadiwala’ or ‘bhangarwala’ not to mention the ease and trust in the dealings.

In exchange for the old ‘raddi’ the customer will be given coupons based on the rate fixed by Big Bazaar in advance. The customer can use the coupons as per his convenience but before due date. One can avail great shopping value by exchanging any old item in any condition and shop at Big Bazaar in return.

Commenting on this occasion, Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd president (marketing) Sanjeev Agrawal said, “We at Big Bazaar wish to keep adding value to the customer. This is one more initiative in this direction. This offer will help the housewife clean out old junk while getting a good value for it.”

Big Bazaar will weigh the junk brought by the customer; value it as per the rates mentioned above and issue exchange coupons for that value. The customer will have to shop for four times the value of the coupon. The coupon can be redeemed against apparel, plastics, utensils, linen, luggage, footwear, toys, furniture and much more.
