PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED dancer Kala Thakur presented Rajasthani dance in the Craft 2006 exhibition organised by Madhya Pradesh Hastashilp Evam Hathkargha Vikas Nigam in Gandhi Hall yesterday.
Nigam assistant manager Dilip Soni said that Kala Thakur dances with only one leg as the other is affected by polio. The Nigam also presented a memento to Kala. National Handloom Board member Anil Shukla also visited the exhibition.

Hindi workshop inaugurated
“THE GOVERNMENT employees must make efforts to carry out all the official activities in Hindi language. It is not difficult to learn Hindi once a person is determined to do so.” Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) general manager Arun Kumar Nigam mentioned this at the inauguration of Hindi workshop in BSNL office yesterday.
Income Tax Office assistant director (official language) Devesh Kumar Tyagi delivered a lecture on official language policy in the workshop. Similarly, Dr Ravindra Pahalwan spoke on official letter writing and Rakesh Sharma explained Hindi grammar in the workshop.
BSNL assistant director (official language) Jaya Thakur presented the outline of the programme. Zonal engineer (administration) B L Gupta proposed the vote of thanks.
