The BJP criticised the Centre for its failure to come out with a financial package to enable the state government meet the employees demand for full implementation of recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.

BJP President Rajnath Singh during his recent visit to Arunachal Pradesh, criticised the state Congress government for its failure to fulfill the demands of the agitating employees, who have been on indefinite pen down strike since February 5, paralysing the administration of the border state.

As a punitive measure, the state government invoked ESMA and dismissed two employee leaders.

However, the BJP Lok Sabha member from the state Kiren Rijiju in a statement today called upon all political parties to unite and fight against the central government's insensitivity towards Arunachal.
