"We are writing to President and Prime Minister for immediate dissolution of the House following breakdown of constitutional machinery by violation of provisions of Article 371 (2) of Constitution," BJP state president Nitin Gadkari told reporters in Nagpur.

He said the Opposition parties will disrupt the proceedings of the House on Monday, which was adjourned on Friday following uproarious scenes over the alleged constitutional breach done by the state government by diverting Rs 263 crore meant for irrigation and other projects for the regions of Vidharbha Marathwada and Konkan.

"We are asking Prime Minister to inquire into the violation of constitutional provisions by the Home Ministry which is a standard practice," Gadkari demanded.

Gadkari said, Opposition leaders on Friday met Governor SM Krishna to appraise him on the Constitutional breach done by the state government.

The directions were binding on government and their violation is a clear violation of Constituion, Gadkari alleged.
