“It is a clear indication that era of BJP is ending, as in Delhi they lost, in Bihar they lost. The people don’t want any communal agenda in this country because they want unity in diversity. It is a clear defeat of Modi ji and Amit Shah, as only these two were projected in Bihar and no other state leaders were projected, not even Sushil Modi,” Siddaramaiah said.

Siddaramaiah said this Bihar election was projected as a political war between Modi ji and Nitish Kumar, and Nitish Kumar has won this battle.

“Nitish Kumar has won this battle and he has done a lot of developmental work in Bihar. This election was projected as a political war between Modi ji and Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar has won in this battle. So, ultimately the people have accepted the secular party and the leadership of Nitish Kumar and leadership of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress Party. I congratulate Nitish ji, Lalu ji, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi for this victory,” he added.

Meanwhile, putting up a brave face, the BJP branded the comeback by the Grand Alliance as ‘interesting’ and said they were ready to accept whatever was the mandate by Bihar.
