BJP organisational elections by June: Shahi

Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Surya Pratap Shahi on Saturday said organisational elections of the party's state unit would be completed by June end.

"The BJP will broaden its base in view of the assembly elections in 2012 and organisational elections will be held by June end," Shahi told reporters in Gorakhpur.

He alleged that corruption was on the rise in the state and Mayawati was busy implementing her own agenda.
