State Congress president Ghulam Ahmed Mir said the politics of polarisation has come to an end as people have rejected the BJP's communal agenda and its anti-people policies.

State Congress president Ghulam Ahmed Mir said the politics of polarisation has come to an end as people have rejected the BJP's communal agenda and its anti-people policies.

"BJP successfully contested elections by polarising the situation along the communal lines. But now the people have realised they were mislead by the polarisation card of the BJP," Mir said at a party convention in Banihal.

He said the double speak and lust for power have exposed BJP and its leaders before the people and its 'so-called' membership drive has failed in the state.

"BJP will not succeed to mislead people further by its hollow slogans or bogus membership drive, it just wants to remain in limelight to appease its mentors in Delhi," said Mir.

He said the PDP-BJP coalition government has failed on all counts.

"The approach and contradictory policies of PDP- BJP have sent wrong and confusing signals in the state," he said.

PCC senior vice-president and former minister Sham Lal Sharma said that the BJP has lost ground miserably in the Jammu province.
