That Azad was born at Bhabra in Jhabua would be helping the BJP and the saffron brigade’s cause in Jhabua district where the BJP won all the five assembly seats in 2003 Assembly elections.

Party sources said the CM’s second visit to Jhabua within a short span of time (On January 26 he hoisted the national tri-colour at Jhabua) assumed much significance. His visit to Jhabua on February 27 would coincide Uma Bharti’s Jan Adesh Yatra in Malwa region.

He would attend the birth centenary celebrations programme at 1 pm. The ministers- Vijay Shah, Prakash Sonkar and Laxmikant Sharma- would also be present on the occasion. He would also perform bhoomipujan of Azad Memorial, the demand for which was being raised since a long time.
