"The Election Commission has to focus more on the Chhattisgarh poll as local officials are campaigning for the ruling Congress even after transfer of some district collectors for violating the model code of conduct," Naidu told PTI here before leaving for Madhya Pradesh.

The BJP president also demanded deployment of poll observers from outside the state to monitor the polls to the 90-member Assembly as also cameras to capture poll malpractices.

Referring to the Congress allegation on six union ministers for "milking PSUs", he said the Congress must apologise to the Nation and the President for levelling false allegations against the ministers.

On the issue of former Union minister Dalip Singh Judeo, he said it was a move to defame the BJP and damage the image of Judeo, who is engaged in anti-conversion work and the "needle of suspicion in the matter was pointing towards (chief minister Ajit) Jogi."
