"It is a welcome decision. A government functions with a positive approach and good intention. As such the Arjun Munda regime had signed the MoUs to take the state on the development path," BJP state unit President Yadunath Pandey said in Ranchi on Tuesday.

Asked whether the decision of reviewing MoUs by the new government could also force the investors to review their business destinations, he said "I will be in a better position to reply to this query only after the review process was completed."

He, however, expressed confidence that the reviews would reflect the 'good work' done by the Munda government.

"I wish Koda all the best in giving Jharkhand a stable government as well as completing his full term," Pandey added.

Addressing the press, Koda said his UPA government would review all the MoUs, keeping the interest of the state in mind.

Koda, however, assured that his UPA government would support those investors who are 'serious and committed' in setting up their plants in the state.
