Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Madhav has said the party would not have any alliance with separatists to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir
"If any person wants to strengthen the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of Kashmir, he is most welcome," said Madhav at a press conference here on Friday.
Madhav had been making frequent visit to the Valley and has had held talks with former separatist Sajjad Lone, chairman of Peoples Conference, who had this week called on the Prime Minister.
The BJP had been holding talks with many parties and individuals in the Valley to achieve its mission of 44 plus, the half way mark in the assembly of 87 seats. Even though these parties and individuals, including engineer Rashid, had contested elections and taken oath in the Constitution, they have tendencies that could question the sovereignty.
These parties are critical of any move to abrogate Article 370, a key issue for the BJP.
The BJP intends to form a government without any support from the National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
"We want to end the dynastic politics in the state," said Madhav. The BJP leader also refused to comment on the BJP's strategy of government formation if it falls short of the required number.
On PDP MLA Peerzada Mansoor Hussain's speech in which he had cautioned people not to vote for parties which plan to install a Hindu chief minister in the state, Madhav said it was irrelevant as his party has taken a back stand on it.

Madhav also made it clear that the CM candidate for the state would be decided only after the elections would be over.
MoS PMO Jitender Singh, who was also present at the conference, termed the elections as historical opportunity for the party and the youth to participate in the developmental agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked the people to participate in large numbers to give a befitting victory to the BJP.
