Blessed to play villain in 'Pirates' sequel

The 69-year-old star has shot scenes playing the arch enemy of Captain Jack Sparrow in part three, called Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End.

Veteran British actor Brian Blessed will don the villain's role in the second Pirates Of The Caribbean sequel.

According to contactmusic.com, the 69-year-old star has shot scenes playing the arch enemy of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) in part three titled Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End.

Blessed said: "I have just been working on a big pirate film. It's Pirates Of The Caribbean three. I'm the new villain."
