“Everything just happened quickly,” he told HT City, about the film

Like I Love You

, directed by Somnath Sen, and co-starring South actress Suma Bhattacharya. “I thought I would talk when the time is right. I had sent my pictures for a contest, I got selected, gave a few auditions and shoot started immediately. We shot the entire film in London in 15 days flat. There was hardly any time to even eat or sleep.”

The actor, who’s back in the country, says he did not even share details about the movie with his mom and sister, designer Nikhita. “So, if they didn’t tell anyone in their friends circle, it wasn’t intentional… they just didn’t know much.”

Talking about the unconventional TV release of the film, Rahil says, “It is a new concept and a new medium. The last time something like this happened was in the 1950s… I am excited about the movie’s release on MTV.”

Rahil has been doing theatre since many years and was part of a Bollywood musical that went around the world. “I have got some scripts right now, and I am looking forward to working in films, but I will continue doing theatre,” he signs off.
