Bomb hoax at Gujarat High Court

Police and Bomb Disposal Squad after an extensive search of the Gujarat High Court premises declared that an e-mail bomb threat received by the court was a hoax.

The high court had received an e-mail saying that court will be blown up today. Following that police and BDS were rushed to the high court, police said.

However, after extensive search it was found that the e-mail bomb scare was hoax as no bomb, explosive substance or any other incriminating substance were found, police said.

The police are now investigating as to who e-mailed the threat letter, officials said.
