A bomb scare at the Iskcon temple in Surat on Wednesday turned out to be hoax as police did not find any explosives after a thorough search of the shrine.

Police searched the temple with a dog squad and a bomb disposal squad after an anonymous caller claimed a bomb had been planted there.

The caller had told authorities of the temple this evening that someone had planted a bomb in the temple.
