A bomb scare at a DAV school here triggered panic as the authorities evacuated students, police said.

The school authorities asked all the students to vacate the campus after someone informed the principal that a bomb had been planted in the school, city superintendent of police Richard Lakra told PTI.

"After getting the information, the poice rushed to the spot and were searching class rooms and other places at the DAV (Shyamali ) School," Lakra said.
