Police rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs and a bomb disposal squad after the police control room received the call. A thorough search proved that the call was a hoax, police said.

The High Court will hear the bail plea of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, arrested in an alleged land scam, on Wednesday.
