Book on ten years of IIM-I

IIM-I Director DR SP Parashar said that it was on this day that the IIM Indore was registered as a Society. ITC LTD chairman Y C Deveshwar who will also deliver a lecture on the topic, “Triple Bottom Line- ITC Experiences” at 2:30 pm at the Institute Auditorium, will release the book.

IIM-I, which is the youngest amongst the IIMs, in a short span of 10 years has emerged as a highly regarded centre of excellence in management education, both, nationally and internationally. It has international student and faculty exchange programs with North-Eastern University, Boston, USA; Auckland University, New Zealand; University of Science and Technology, China; EM Lyon, France; and IAE, France.

The student intake to PGP this year was increased from 120 to 180. The number of MDPs and in-company programs offered this year would exceed 50 and the institute is in the advanced stage of finalizing 6-month extended MDPs and Certificate Programs for corporates.

In terms of infrastructure, first phase of rainwater harvesting has been completed and a Sewerage Treatment Plant has become functional. A Narmada water connection has also been approved. With sufficient water available about 7000 trees will be planted on campus by October.
