Officials sources said polling was peaceful with security personnel were keeping strict vigil in and around the booths.

Election Commission ordered repolling of three stations under Phek assembly segment after Nagaland People's Front (NPF) workers allegedly obstructed the Congress supporters from exercising their franchise on May 5 elections.

The repolling at a polling station under Chozuba assembly constituency in the same district was necessitated since the EVM was badly damaged by a school teacher.

Large-scale bogus voting and intimidation of voters were reported in the May 5 election in Nagaland which registered an unprecedented turn out of over 90 per cent.

Fate of two main contenders, Wangyuh Konyak of NPF and Kasungba Sangtam of Congress has been sealed in the EVM. The counting will be held on May 13 with the rest of the country.
