Despite being a seasoned actor and a choice of most of Hollywood directors, it doesn't seem that grabbing a role in his son's flick is going to be a 'cakewalk' for Pierce Brosnan, as the ex-James Bond will have to face the audition process if he ever wants to a part of one of his (son) projects.

Chris, who appeared on Love Island recently, has written and will direct his first feature film next summer.

However, he has made it clear to his legendary dad that he wouldn’t automatically be guaranteed a role in the flick, entitled Sixteen Thieves, unless alike others, he proves that he's best suited for one of the characters.

“I might cast him in my movie if he’s lucky. He’d need to audition like everyone else though,” the Sun quoted him, as saying at the UK premiere of Talladega Nights this week.

But it does not mean that the debutant director doubts his father's acting potentials, as he admits he does go to him for film advice.

“We talk a lot. He’s a man who’s been in the business a long time. Whenever I need to ask him anything he’s a great person to go to,” said Chris.

Even Pierce has faith in his boy, as he was glued to the ITV reality show his boy appeared on recently.

“He loved it!” said the son.
