BSEL plans township near Mumbai

BSEL Infrastructure has bought 30 acres near the western city of Mumbai to develop a township for Rs 2 bn by 2012.

Indian infrastructure development company, BSEL Infrastructure Realty Ltd, said on Friday it bought 30 acres near the western city of Mumbai to develop a township for Rs 2 billion by 2012.

A unit of the company was also developing a 100,000-sq ft (9,290-sq metre) space at Business Bay & Internet City in Jumeira, Dubai, at a cost of Rs 1 billion, the company said in a statement.

The revenue potential of this project would be Rs 1.2 billion, it said.
