In a memorandum to Governor B L Joshi, a delegation of Congress leaders also demanded a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each to those killed due to dengue and viral fever in the state.
The leaders alleged that the government had failed to conduct panchayat polls properly and a number of people were killed across the state.
"We have demanded that an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh should be given to the kin of each of those killed during the polls," senior party leader Neeraj Bora said.
