BSP MLA remanded to judicial custody

A BSP MLA, who was a state witness in Madhumita murder case, has been sent to judicial remand by a local court as he said that there could an attack on him.

Guddoo Pandit, a BSP MLA, was sent to judicial remand till July 23 by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Kasganj in Etah.

Pandit had moved an application citing danger to his life while being brought from Kanpur to Etah and Kasganj to the court.

Pandit had also claimed in his application that he was not being provided medical check-up or allowed to meet family members at the district prison in Kanpur.
