State Congress President and MLA Kaul Singh Thakur told PTI on Tuesday that his party would raise issues like "total failure" of PDS system, government's refusal to cut bus fare despite lowering of prices of petrol and diesel and Prem Kumar Dhumal government "taking credit" by executing programmes of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.

Denying Congress charges, his BJP counterpart and MLA Jairam Thakur said the ruling party would be aggressive in the House to counter the opposition. He accused Congress of trying to put roadblocks in the path of progress of the state.

There will be 11 sittings during the budget session from February 12 to February 27, Speaker Tulsi Ram told reporters.

He said Governer Prabha Rau will address the House on the opening day on February 12.
