A day after police arrested two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist near the main town, Faridabad based businessman was abducted by four men near Norbulingka–Tibetan-monastery about four kilometers from main town.
Parvesh Ghosh, Faridabad based businessman who had come to Dharamsala few months back was abducted by five unidentified persons near his house in Sidhpur. Ghosh who had gone for morning walk with his pet was dragged inside a white coloured Innova SUV by four men.
Incident happened at about 7:30 am. On being forced inside car Ghosh raised alarm, gaining attention of alert Tibetan security guard on duty at Norbulingka monastery. Sensing that there was something fishy Tibetan security guard Tsewang ran after vehicle to rescue the businessman but to no avail. Tsewang quickly jotted down the registration number of the vehicle and searched for Parvesh Ghosh’s house located in vicinity of monastery and informed his wife Dolly Ghosh about incident.
Dolly immediately reported the matter to police. On being informed the police sounded alert in the district and also informed counterparts in the Hamirpur. “Police had flashed the message across all the barriers on the roadside about the abducted person” said SSP Kangra Diljeet Thakur.
The abductors who drove towards Shimla, did not stop at the police nakka at Jawalamukhi town and later broke barrier at Naduan 22 kilometres ahead of Hamirpur town. The police vehicles in Naduan chased the vehicle --- no.PB 11 AL-9852 and apprehended all the occupants near Amroh village. All the occupants in the vehicle were brought to Police station Dharamsala for interrogation.

{{/usCountry}}Abductors have been identified as Gurdeep, Balvinder, Pradeep and Ved Pal, all are said to be resident of Nilokhari Haryana. During the interrogation Balwinder and Gurdeep had revealed Parvesh who was their partner in handloom business owed them money. The police officials said that their antecedents were doubtful. Revelations made by four during the preliminary investigations indicated that they were allegedly involved in carjacking. “Initial leads point towards their links with car jackers” said a police official. Police said that they were also verifying registration number of vehicle.
Parvesh Ghosh told police that he had arrived in Dharamsala about five days ago for spiritual retreat and also with an aim to start some business venture in and around Dharamsala to earn his livelihood. Ghosh is said to be resident of sector 16 in Faridabad.
