Faridabad was the first NCR town to raise voice against the arbitrary fee hike by most of the private schools. But three and a half months later, there is no end in sight to this problem. Parents and parents' bodies, either suffer silently at the hands of the schools or continue to fight the hike on streets, braving the scorching sun.

Parents and the activists of the Faridabad Abibavak Ekta Manch on Wednesday, as usual, staged protests here against the fee hike. But this time the protest site was Sector 7, where a private school is alleged to have been harassing the students for not paying the fee according to the new structure.

“The school is even charging Rs 500 as penalty from the students which has forced us to come on the streets and lodge strong protest against the school administration", LN Jangir, President of Faridabad wing of Abibavak Ekta Manch said.

Demanding strict action against the schools for violating the government orders (which restrict the schools from charging hiked fee), Jangir said Haryana Government should follow UP and come to the rescue of helpless parents in Haryana.
