Campaigning to end for first phase of LS polls

Campaigning ends today for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 16. Prominent leaders from various political parties are trying hard to reach out to the voters.

Campaigning ends today for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 16. Prominent leaders from various political parties are trying hard to reach out to voters.

Many leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhui, L K Advani, are holding rallies to influence the undecided voters.

Also Priyanka Gandhi in Amethi, Mayawati in Jaipur and Narendra Modi in north and central Gujarat are holding public gatherings.

The first phase will see polling in 17 states and 124 of the 543 seats in Parliament will be decided in this phase.
