The application was filed in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate VK Khanna and will come up for hearing on Saturday.

Besides the 'don', two other accused in the case Manoj Kumar and Hari Shankar Choudhary have also filed their bail pleas.

CBI, busting a nationwide racket behind leakage of question papers of CAT, had arrested the trio and another accused Arun Kumar Sinha from a hotel in Mahipaplpur in South-West Delhi on November 23.

Later the agency also booked them in two other cases of leakage of question papers of All India Pre-Medical Exam, 2002 and CBSE All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Examination, 2003.

All the accused are presently in judicial custody.

Meanwhile, Metropolitan Magistrate Nivedita Sharma on Friday granted bail to CAT scam accused Bharat Bhushan, who was apprehended by Delhi Police outside the hotel from where the 'don' was arrested.

On Wednesday, the court had given bail to three of Bhushan's alleged aides Rajesh Suchan, Arvind Kumar and Rahul Mahender.
