"It is absolutely nothing but a misinformation and facade. EVMs are instruments of the make of tamper-proof. It is impossible that these machines will be tampered with," CEO Sudhir Rakesh told PTI here.

The JD(U) leader is locked in a straight fight with RJD's Rambadan Rai. The constituency will go to poll in the third phase on April 30.

The RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad had earlier alleged that large numbers of EVMs were being "tampered with" in Munger to favour Lallan Singh.

Prasad had also demanded transfer of the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police, besides several other officials engaged in poll works in Munger.
