The Union corporate affairs minister also alleged that the IAC activist was trying to tarnish the Congress' image.

"Allegations against Vadra of getting favours from DLF are politically motivated and Kejriwal is trying to tarnish the Congress image," he told reporters here.

On the Cauvery water sharing dispute, Moily rapped the BJP ruled Karnataka Government for "failure" to present ground realities in the Cauvery basin before the Supreme Court which directed the state to release water to Tamil Nadu.

Opposing release of water, he said Tamil Nadu was on the verge of receiving rains this month and enough water was stored in Mettur dam.

Attacking the BJP government on corruption, Moily said all allegations levelled against BJP leaders would be probed if Congress returned to power in the state.

Referring to Congress President Sonia Gandhi's proposed October 18 visit to the state, he said the party workers should take a pledge to work together and win the next elections, due early next year.
