Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram arrives in this Jharkhand capital Wednesday midnight to review the operations against the Maoist rebels, a top state government official said.
The home minister is expected to land at the Ranchi airport around 11.55 p.m., a government source said.

According to the source, Chidambaram will review the security scenario and the proposed operation against Maoist rebel in a high-level meeting with state government and police officials Thursday.
