Chiranjeevi appeals for peace after Ayodhya verdict

Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi has appealed to people of the country to maintain peace and communal harmony after the Allahabad High Court delivers its judgement in the Ayodhya case on Friday.

In a statement in Hyderabad on Friday, Chiranjeevi said all sections of society should observe restraint whatever be the court’s verdict in the case.

"Let us all observe restraint and maintain peace and communal harmony not only in the state but also across the country," Chiranjeevi said.
Lok Satta Party President N Jayaprakash Narayan too issued a similar appeal on the eve of the Allahabad High Court's verdict. "Let peace and harmony prevail in the country," Narayan said.
