Compatriot Jeev Milkha Singh had a better outing yesterday with three under 69 rpt 69 but that proved too little too late as the Asian Tour leader fell by the wayside after aggregating four over 148 in two rounds.

On the halfway mark, Daniel Chopra aggregates six under 138 and is nine shots of the leader American Bob Estes who fired seven under 65 to displace fellow Will MacKenzie from the top.

Putting behind his disappointing performance in the round one, Chopra seemed in good nick today and banged in three birdies on his blemish free back nine.

He gained another shot on second hole after making the turn and then fired three consecutive birdies between the fouth and sixth hole. However, he fumbled towards the end and dropped two strokes on the seventh and the ninth.
