Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman to team up for Mandela movie

Oscar winners Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman are teaming up for a movie based on the life of former South African president Nelson Mandela.

Freeman will play Mandela in the movie titled The Human Factor and will focus on how Mandela used the 1995 Rugby World Cup to unite the country after years of apartheid, reports mirror.co.uk.

Freeman last year asked for Mandela's blessings and asked Eastwood to direct.

Matt Damon will play the South African captain Francois Pienaar. Eastwood and Freeman have teamed up in the past for Oscar winners Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby.
