The three projects are among a slew of developmental and welfare schemes being launched by the Indore Municipal Corporation to ring in the New Year. Chief among these is the mid-day meal scheme slated to commence from January 6 under which free luncheons would be served to 50,000 schoolchildren of primary schools located within municipal limits.

Of the three projects for which the CM has been invited, the Manikbag overbridge, which was opened to the public for one day on January 1, is almost complete. It is expected to significantly cut down travel time between the eastern and western parts of the City. Work is almost over on the Bond Road scheme, too, as well as on the Sports Complex in Scheme 78.
