CM?s office may seek info on people?s plaints

THE CHIEF Minister’s office is considering seeking information about people’s complaints from remote districts and redressal of the same and also setting up a computerised system for the time-bound disposal of the applications.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today held discussions with senior officers at Mantralaya in this regard, part of their discussions was about making more effective systems and procedures of public grievances redressal.

Chief Secretary Vijay Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister OP Rawat, Secretaries DP Tiwari, Iqbal Singh Bains and Anurag Jain attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed ensuring action by department concerned by obtaining information about complaints on telephone in some districts on an experimental basis and make a computerised system for time-bound disposal of the applications received by the Chief Minister.

After studying both the proposals, it was decided to present a report to the CM. It was also proposed to introduce the telephonic enquiry system in selected remote districts.
