Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad called an all-party meet to find out an acceptable solution to land transfer issue. He said the Amarnath Shrine Board would not be allowed to do any construction work till some agreement was reached upon. No date has been fixed for the meeting, but he said it would be held “soon”.

He said a few people were trying to use religion for politics. “Assembly elections are ahead. Some people are trying to exploit religious sentiment for votes. It is negative politics,” he said.
