Hospital’s managing director Dr Pradyuman Kumar Pandey told media persons today that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would formally inaugurate the hospital on February 12. He added that patients would get round the clock medical help for heart, chest, neo-natal, paediatric and accident, trauma and orthopaedic services.

Dr Pandey stated that to treat critical patients the hospital, built at a cost of around Rs 6.5 crore, is equipped with most modern 10-bedded critical care unit.

The hospital also boasts of providing noninvasive continuous cardiac output monitoring by ICG monitor for the first time in India. Another feature of the hospital is its dual display, central monitoring system, which is first of its kind in Madhya Pradesh and second in the country.

The hospital also has a heart-monitoring unit that can monitor heartbeats during twin pregnancy too, she informed. The unit is also capable of monitoring the entire body systems of the expectant mother and is very successful in avoiding unnecessary delivery by caesarean section, Dr Pandey stated.
