Committee formed for Chetichand celebration

SINDHU NAVJAGRAN Samiti has constituted an organising committee to celebrate Chetichand in Bairagarh township. A Sindhi fair and a cultural programme will also be organised to mark the occasion on March 31.

Organising committee president Dr Harikrishna Peswani gave this information here on Tuesday. Naresh Kumar Chotrani and Harish Kumar Pardasani have been appointed conveners of the committee.

Get-together on Holi, Rangpanchmi
HINDU UTSAV Samiti organised a get-together programme on the occasion of Holi and Rangpanchmi on Tuesday. Eminent citizens were felicitated on the occasion. Noted singers Suhasini Joshi and Akhilesh Tiwari presented bhajans and songs at the programme.

Mayor Sunil Sood, Congress leader P C Sharma, Deepchand Yadav, Ashok Jain Bhabha, Krishna Gaur and former BDA Vice-chairman Narimal Nariyani also graced the proceedings. Samiti president Trilok Deepani welcomed the guests.
