Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh said on Thursday that the Congress and the BJP’s vote against Mulayam Singh during the trust motion carried in the UP Assembly has proved that they were two sides of the same coin.
"The Congress is personally prejudiced against the SP while we are political prejudiced in their favour to checkmate communalism," Singh said in the context of his party’s continued support of the UPA at the Centre. He also thanked the CPI-M for supporting the SP in the State Assembly.
